Have you seen a dark grey dog with a soft, wavy single coat,
lots of facial hair ("fall" & "beard"), and a 5" docked tail?

Dateline: South Surrey, British Columbia, Canada

McDuff is nearly 11 years old, intact, male Kerry Blue Terrier.

Special Needs

McDuff is on a special diet. It is important to his health that he is reunited with his family who can provide for his special needs.

Facts

On Saturday, October 7, 2006 McDuff got out an open garden gate. This was in the area of 26th Avenue at 164 Street, South Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.

At that time McDuff went missing he was wearing a pink/purple collar, with ID and rabies tags. He is both microchipped and tattooed.

He was last seen Saturday, October 7, 2006.

McDuff is dog friendly.

McDuff may be misidentified as a Poodle, Schnauzer, Puli, Scottie, black Airedale or Portuguese Water Dog, Bouvier or some combination thereof.

McDuff’s family is heartbroken and desperate to find him.

Identification

At that time McDuff went missing he was wearing a pink/purple collar, with ID and rabies tags.

  • male, intact Kerry Blue Terrier
  • 19 inches at the shoulder blades
  • weighs about 40 lbs
  • soft, wavy single gray coat with darker points
  • 5 inch docked tail
  • folded, triangular ears

  • please contact the owner so that McDuff can be reunited with his family.

Post at as many dog friendly places as you can, places like grooming shops, vet clinics, pet food stores, dog training or performance classes or clubs and dog parks. Also post the flyer in any other public place with lots of foot traffic, where such notices are allowed, like bulletin boards at supermarkets, schools, churches.  
  • Go to your local shelter and walk the rows looking for any dog that might be a bedraggled Kerry – even if you are unsure, contact us immediately!
  • If you are a shelter scanner or involved in Rescue, please spread the word and keep an eye out for any dog which might match this description and contact us immediately.
