Junie has been found! Thank-you!
Have you seen a dark grey dog with a soft, wavy single coat, lots of facial hair ("fall" & "beard"), a 4" docked tail?
Junie is nearly 3 years old; a spayed, female Kerry Blue Terrier.
On Saturday May 27th (Memorial Day Weekend) Junie bolted and fled as her owner came through the front door. This was in the area of SE Ramp Street which is just off SE Douglas Road (south of Route 138).
Junie was spotted at about 2 pm on Saturday, May 27, several hours after she escaped, at Ramp Canyon in Roseburg under a blackberry bush. She fled towards the mountains.
At the time Junie went missing she was wearing a pink collar, with ID and rabies tags. She is microchipped.
She was last seen the evening of May 27, 2006.
Junie is a recent rescue from a puppymill and is very timid around people. If you pursue her she will give flee. If you see her, do not try to approach her. Put some food down and step away from it, and allow her to approach you and the food.
Junie is very dog friendly.
Junie may be misidentified as a Poodle, Schnauzer, Puli, Scottie, black Airedale or Portuguese Water Dog, Bouvier or some combination thereof.
Junie has only been in her forever home for just one week. Her family is heartbroken and desperate to find her.
